What is Ultrasonic Cavitation and how does it work?
Ultrasonic cavitation is a revolutionary method of breaking down and eliminating fat without invasive surgery or even anaesthesia. The cavitation machine emits ultrasonic waves which target fat cells by using narrow frequency. Circular movements are used to break down the fat and once they have been broken down they are then absorbed into the blood stream, through the liver and then subsequently excreted through urine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it hurt? Because Ultrasonic cavitation is non-invasive, it means there is absolutely no pain or discomfort at all. There may be very slight discomfort if the ultrasound heads become warm but this causes no harm to the body and any discomfort ceases immediately when the applicator is moved away from the body.
Which areas are suitable for the treatment? Treatment is most effective and suitable for problematic areas including: love handles, buttocks, inner thighs, stomach and under the arms. Although there is no real limitation on which areas can be treated.
How many treatments will I need? The number of sessions required depends on many factors including your desired inch loss, metabolism, age and body shape/weight. It is recommended that you have at least 6 sessions to notice the results, although results are often visible after the first session.
Are there any side effects? Common and normal side effects can include thirst, a mild redness and warm sensation in the treated area, nausea following treatment, frequent urination and possible lethargy.
What is the recovery time following treatment? Ultrasound Cavitation is non-invasive and an outpatient procedure which therefore means there is no recovery time and you can return to work and normal duties immediately following treatment.
