This is a surgical procedure for the removal of a mole, small cysts and skin tags, and includes the use of a local anaesthetic. We can also remove cysts depending on the size and location, please call us to discuss your requirements.
You will first have a consultation with our doctor, who’ll confirm your suitability for the procedure and answer any questions. If you are suitable and agree to have the treatment, we can either book you an appointment or in most cases, carry out the procedure at the time. The procedure will last around 20 minutes, a follow up appointment may be required.

After an initial consultation with the doctor, if cryotherapy is thought appropriate, liquid nitrogen will be applied the area for a few seconds to freeze and destroy the affected skin cells. After treatment, a blister will form, followed by a scab, which will fall off 7-10 days later.
A session of cryotherapy usually takes 5-15 minutes, large lesions may need to be treated a few times before they clear up completely.
£99 for first consultation plus £40 for steroid injection, Plus £89 for the follow up consultation and £49 for the injection. This procedure is done by injecting steroid into the lesion. Please note several appointments may be required 6-8 weeks apart to achieve an acceptable cosmetic outcome.
